The Survey Technician drafts subdivision plats, boundary surveys, and easement plats while preparing parcel descriptions and staking maps. They also create digital terrain models and may perform field work as necessary.
Candidates should have a degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, or at least three years of progressive field experience. Proficiency in mathematical concepts like trigonometry and geometry is required.
