The mission of the Corporate Finance Department is to maximize shareholder value and drive corporate objectives through strategic financial insight and oversight.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Corporate Finance team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for strengthening financial results by effectively managing Aritzia’s financial assets and providing senior leadership with the required information and analysis to make informed business decisions. As the Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance, you will support with enabling Aritzia’s strong financial position by executing financial planning, management and reporting while also assisting with business development and investor relations. THE ROLE
As the Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance, you will:
Proactively maximize Aritzia’s overall financial performance and support smart spending through informed and fact-based business decisions
Drive the short and long term financial plan in alignment with corporate objectives and strategies
Provide the business with visibility into corporate and departmental performance with relevant and timely financial results
Accelerate corporate objectives by efficiently acquiring new businesses or strategic partnerships
Provide Investor Relations with a comprehensive understanding of investor and analyst expectations of Aritzia’s financial performance and outlook
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance, has:
Financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
CPA/CFA is an asset
A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
THE COMPENSATION
At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $50,000 - $150,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
