Oversees daily operations of the Gallery and retail shops, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational guidelines are met. Collaborates with the Retail Manager and Buyer to manage inventory, staff scheduling, and new hire training.
Requires at least 2 years of retail experience, with supervisory experience being desirable. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong communication and basic mathematical skills.
This position oversees the operations in the Gallery as directed by Retail Manager, maintaining open line of communication with Manager and Buyer at all times.
Ability to articulate in both written and verbal communication. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. The candidate must have basic mathematical skills and understand how to read, analyze and assist in the creation of budgets. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
