The Resort Controller manages all aspects of the accounting department to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Key duties include overseeing tax returns, approving reconciliations, and supervising the accounting and payroll staff.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and at least 5 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
The Resort Controller will work with the CFO/VP of Finance to manage all aspects of the accounting department to ensure efficiency and accuracy. This position will work collaboratively with all departments and guide the accounting team in establishing effective communication and working relationships across the organization.
The Resort Controller will directly supervise payroll manager, purchasing manager, accounts payable clerks, general cashier, and staff accountants. This includes managing schedules, disciplinary action, reporting, administrative tasks, evaluations, planning, directing, planning/attending/leading meetings, etc.
Native American Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
