Full job description
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in product marketing or related marketing fields.
3 years of experience with developer platforms, web development, coding, or experience with vibe coding.
Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to directly create social and video educational content.
Proven ability to work with ambiguity and learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
About the job:
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
As a Product Marketing Manager supporting Chrome for Developers, you will help web developers build innovative new experiences and create successful businesses in the AI era. You will help craft the narrative for top partners and individual developers and help them evolve and thrive with new agentic capabilities. You will be responsible for building groundbreaking demos and educational content that showcases what is now possible on the web. You will ensure Chrome has a great presence at I/O and other major ecosystem events. Your work will inspire the next generation of builders to create for Chrome.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Help developers build innovative and helpful new experiences and bring the Chrome platform into the agentic era.
Launch and drive adoption of new features for Chrome and the web platform working alongside product and developer relations teams.
Create social and video content that both educates and inspires both experienced developers and the next generation of builders on the web.
Engage with web developers online and in person to gather feedback to shape our narratives and communication strategies.
Research and experiment with the latest agentic coding tools to have an informed opinion on competitive solutions and how our tools and capabilities can improve.
A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. Bring your insight, imagination and a healthy disregard for the impossible. Bring everything that makes you unique. Together, we can build for everyone.
