The Production Assistant supports the extrusion operator in a 24/7 manufacturing environment by monitoring product quality and performing machine maintenance. They are also responsible for packaging finished materials, completing production reports, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in basic math, computer skills, and the ability to read a ruler are required for this role.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Other Requirements: Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Basic mathematical proficiency in the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, reading gauges and similar measuring devices.
