Context & Job Purpose

The Senior Data Analyst – This role pertains to enhancement of value proposition through analytical insights for executives and division heads. It demands exceptional attention to detail in both data accuracy and visual communication. The Senior Analyst must be able to distill complex information into clear, intuitive dashboards that emphasize what matters most. Proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps/Automate to build and present visuals with simplicity, purpose, meaning, relevance while adapting interactive design language.

The Senior Analyst should also have the experience and curiosity to understand underlying business problems and deliver solutions that meet the real need—not merely the initial request.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce ad-hoc analysis and translate ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable analytical solutions.
• Design and deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards that prioritize clarity, simplicity, and user‑focused data storytelling.
• Develop Power Apps solutions with integrated SharePoint lists, automated workflows, and well‑structured UI/UX logic.  
• Improve and maintain existing analytical products while leveraging every automation opportunity and streamlining existing or new data workflows.
• Lead requirements‑gathering discussions and convert business needs into effective data‑driven solutions.
• Create high‑quality analytical outputs with actionable insights, emphasizing visual clarity and thoughtful use of color to highlight key patterns or anomalies.
• Communicate timeline clearly and enable timely publication of the reports.
• Build, optimize, and validate SQL queries in both Oracle and Snowflake to ensure accuracy, performance, and data reliability.
• Contribute to team knowledge, documentation, and onboarding of new team members.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (IT or Technology preferred).
• Additional certifications in analytics or data tools are a plus.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in analytics, reporting, or solution development.
• Proven experience in developing analytics solutions and managing recurring reporting.
• Experience collaborating with remote or onshore–offshore teams.
• Exposure to supply chain, warehouse logistics, or manufacturing (preferred).

Skills Required

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to deliver clear insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel (including Power Query)
• Experience developing solutions in Microsoft Power Apps/Automate (Must have)
• Proficient SQL skills with experience writing queries in both Oracle and Snowflake.
• Effective communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with Python and Share point connectivity (preferred).
