Core Responsibility – Junior Stock Controller
The Junior Stock Controller is responsible for executing and controlling end-to-end inventory and material flow processes, including inbound receiving, storage, production kitting, inventory accuracy, subcontractor issuing & stock control, and finished goods dispatch.
The role ensures that all materials are accurately received, verified, stored, picked, kitted, issued to production, and dispatched in alignment with system (SAP) records.
The Junior Stock Controller maintains high levels of inventory accuracy by enforcing bin accuracy, FIFO principles, and disciplined stock handling, while actively performing cycle counts, stock verification, and variance investigations across warehouse locations, production areas, and subcontractors.
The role is responsible for identifying, documenting, and resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with production, procurement, quality, and planning departments to drive timely resolution.
In addition, the role ensures that production lines are consistently supplied with the correct materials at the right time through accurate kitting and issuing based on production schedules, while validating all picks against approved documentation and maintaining strict control over stock movements and system transactions.
The role also supports dispatch operations by verifying finished goods, reconciling production outputs, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate and timely loading, with full system and documentation control.
All inventory activities must be accurately recorded, supported by proper documentation, and executed using the latest Standard operating procedures and system controls.
