The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for inspecting Medjool dates to ensure they meet quality standards and classifying them into appropriate grades. They also monitor farm harvesting, handling, and transportation practices while maintaining traceability and ensuring compliance with food safety certifications.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in agriculture, Food Science, Horticulture, or a related field. A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in quality control, specifically with fresh produce or dates, is required.

Founded in 1997 as part of a desert reclamation project, our family owned farm in Egypt's Bahariya Oasis specializes in superior, export quality Medjool dates, with over 80,000 productive palms and a target of 120,000 in the coming years.
