The SMT Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating surface mount machines to assemble printed circuit boards according to specifications. They must also maintain quality documentation, perform material handling, and conduct minor machine maintenance to ensure efficient production.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain J-STD and IPC certifications within 90 days. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with small, fragile components are required.
