About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented warehouse supervisor to manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, a keen eye for process optimization, accountable for Inventory management and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Warehouse officer Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, counting, physical checking and shipping of products.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
• Implement and enforce safety and security procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Train and evaluate warehouse employees.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and documentation.

 Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) / ERP and inventory control.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Education and Experience Requirements

• B.com/ bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Certifications in forklift operation or safety management are a plus..
