The Quality Systems Engineer maintains and improves the organization's quality management system in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. This includes leading internal audits, managing system documentation, and driving cross-functional corrective actions.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required, along with strong expertise in automotive quality systems and auditing. Experience with surface mount soldering and root cause analysis is preferred.
The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization’s quality management system in compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This role leads internal audit activities, supports external certification audits, manages quality system documentation, and works cross-functionally to drive corrective action and continuous improvement. The position requires strong knowledge of automotive quality systems, audit processes, surface mount soldering processes, and IMDS requirements.
