The Safety Engineer ensures site compliance with state and federal safety regulations by developing cost-effective strategies and conducting regular safety audits. They also facilitate the creation of safety procedures, deliver training to site personnel, and interact with regulatory agencies to maintain operational flexibility.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related Science field. A minimum of 2 years of safety experience and the ability to work on-site at the Houston Refinery are required.

A Safety Engineer has an Understanding State and Federal safety regulations, assesses and communicates the implications of those regulations to Operations, and works with Operations to develop and implement cost-effective compliance solutions. Works with Regional and other Safety Engineers to develop and implement Best Practices solutions to common safety regulations and issues.
