Position Overview
The Product Marketing Manager is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for driving market success for Industrial Scientific’s portfolio of products and services. You will lead positioning, messaging, and marketing strategies that resonate with our customers, enable our sales teams, and differentiate us in the market. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Insight & Positioning
Define clear value propositions and product positioning in collaboration with Product Management.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform messaging.
Develop buyer personas and map customer journeys to optimize engagement.
2. Market Strategy
Own marketing planning for new products, features, and services.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introductions aligned with business goals.
Translate technical capabilities into compelling customer-facing messaging.
3. Sales Enablement
Equip commercial teams with training, materials, and processes, including presentations, product demos, fact sheets, and customer success stories.
Drive confidence in selling through clear communication of value propositions.
4. Content & Demand Generation
Partner with Marketing to create high-impact content: case studies, videos, blogs, and whitepapers.
Support integrated campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
Foster a collaborative environment across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of product marketing experience (B2B preferred).
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects
Proven ability to influence and align teams around shared business outcomes
Preferred:
Experience in industrial safety or EHS markets.
