About this Role

We are seeking a Supplier Cyber Security Specialist to oversee and enhance cyber security practices across Vodafone’s supplier ecosystem. This role is responsible for assessing, managing, and reducing cyber risks associated with third-party suppliers, ensuring consistent implementation of security controls across the supplier lifecycle. The role plays a key part in aligning global cyber security strategies with local priorities while maintaining compliance, strengthening governance, and protecting Vodafone’s infrastructure from external threats.

What you’ll do

• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to assess and understand cyber security risks
• Conduct end-to-end cyber security risk assessments across the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, contract phase, in-life operations, and offboarding
• Track and manage supplier risk reduction plans to ensure effective mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
• Develop, implement and operate security standards, processes, tools and reporting frameworks across Vodafone
• Support internal stakeholders by providing guidance on supplier security processes, policies and outputs
• Integrate supplier cyber security processes with broader organisational risk management frameworks
• Develop and maintain supplier security dashboards, metrics and performance reports
• Participate in communication processes across the supplier security ecosystem to ensure clarity and alignment

Who you are

• 8+ years of experience in third-party risk management or information security risk management
• Strong understanding of information security principles and third-party risk frameworks
• Experience working with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC audits, and related compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to manage cyber security risks within complex supplier environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyse data and create structured reports and presentations
• Experience using risk management platforms such as OneTrust or Riskonnect
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify and resolve complex challenges
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in supplier audits, risk management and global stakeholder engagement
