The Global Category Manager identifies and manages suppliers to optimize value, quality, and cost for direct or indirect categories. They develop global category strategies and lead negotiations to ensure material flow and technological advantages.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and at least 7 years of experience in supply chain or procurement. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and Coupa, along with strong leadership and negotiation skills, is expected.
About the Role:
As a Global Category Manager, you will identify and select suppliers who provide superior value in quality products and/or services that provide the best value to Wabash and our customers. You may have a focus in Direct or Indirect Categories. Will build and/or strengthen relationships and lead negotiations with suppliers. Lead the development and management of global category strategies designed to leverage Wabash's collective purchasing power and optimize supplier performance while meeting technology expectations.
