Roles and Responsibilities,

• Understanding the training requirement from customers across the globe and sourcing the best training supplier in the market
• Manage good working relationship with the training suppliers
• Obtaining quotes from different suppliers and creating standard bid summary by assessing the quotes
• Negotiate on the proposals from training suppliers to provide customers with the most competitive pricing in the market
• Develop and deliver cost savings through implementing optimum sourcing strategies
• Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation
• Coordinate multiple tasks and detailed activities in a time-intensive work environment
• Correspond with customer and training partners for all training delivery related communications like dates and venue finalizing, registering the learner to training etc
• Use a data driven approach to rationalize supplier base
• Maintain data integrity among different systems internally
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving for customers
• Follow best practice processes, and suggest Lean opportunities

Educational Qualification

Any graduate

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in commodity sourcing and management or purchasing and commercial management
• Experience in working with suppliers in Learning industry will be considered a strong plus
• Experience with sourcing in international markets and supplier quality assessment
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Demonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, superior performance and continuous improvement
• Experience of monitoring and managing work queues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
• Sound time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
• Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
