The Mental Health Tech Supervisor ensures program integrity and patient safety across inpatient units through continual supervision and crisis management. They are responsible for mentoring staff, managing milieu schedules, and coordinating departmental communication and training.

Education: Requires Associate's degree in the behavioral sciences (or equivalent: 60 college credits) or possess a high school diploma/GED and have one (1) year of full time experience in mental health. Must be at least 21 years of age. Prefer Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences.
Experience: Must have an extensive understanding and working knowledge of inpatient psych and acute units in a hospital setting. Must be able to work effectively with adolescents and adults.
Licensure: No licensure necessary.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion CPR certification, Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Must obtain HWC/Verbal Instructor certification. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
