The Compliance Analyst ensures regulatory compliance for affordable housing by reviewing certification paperwork and monitoring federal and state housing regulations. They also provide guidance to onsite property teams and conduct quality control audits to maintain audit readiness.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in affordable housing compliance and in-depth knowledge of LIHTC and HUD Section 8 programs. Proficiency in property management software like Yardi Voyager and strong analytical skills are required for this role.
Compliance Analyst
The Compliance Analyst works within a team environment under the direction of the Compliance Director, with a primary focus on ensuring full regulatory compliance across Indigo's affordable housing portfolio. This role is responsible for reviewing and processing certification paperwork for all residents and applicants, monitoring compliance with federal and state housing regulations, and supporting audit readiness across assigned properties. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC/Section 42) and HUD Project-Based Section 8 programs, along with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This is a home office-based role supporting onsite property teams remotely.
