Responsible for the material supply chain elements of new product introductions and supporting engineering with launch execution. This includes managing material phasing, maintaining master data, and coordinating with procurement to ensure timely delivery of components.
Requires proven experience in a manufacturing environment with robust knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and BoMs. A technical qualification in logistics or supply chain (such as APICS or a BSc) is preferred.
Main purpose of the job
Responsible for the material supply chain element of new product introduction. Supporting the engineering function with the planning and execution of new product development and launch. Enabling planning and supply chain alignment to the latest engineering configuration for production and customer material requirements. Ensuring that inventory working capital impact is minimised through effective material phasing and burn off and in line with corporate objectives for cost and delivery performance.
