The Hospital Services Technician travels between healthcare facilities to proactively collect and exchange various waste containers, including sharps and pharmaceutical waste. They also assist with inventory management and provide backup coverage for other team members as needed.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of industry-related experience in a customer service capacity and possess a valid driver's license. The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push carts weighing up to 500 pounds.

I. Job Summary
Under management's direction, the Hospital Services Swing worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange waste containers for various Stericycle programs. This includes, but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities. Fills in for other Team Members who are on vacation, sick, leave, etc. Assists Supervisor, as needed, covers schedules and locations, which may vary based on coverage required.
