Position Summary
The Denester is responsible for operating and supplying denesting equipment to ensure graded eggs are accurately allocated into the correct packaging. This role monitors equipment performance, makes necessary adjustments, and supports production flow to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up denesting equipment at startup with correct packaging materials
Load flats, cartons, or other required packaging for production orders
Make program-related adjustments to denesters as needed
Monitor denesters and lanes for issues and escalate concerns to the Grader Lead
Fix assorted errors related to equipment to minimize machine downtime
Communicate effectively with grader operators and hand-pack teams
Perform other related duties as assigned
Train new team members
Maintain a clean and safe work area by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard procedures
Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and effectively
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Basic mechanical or equipment operation aptitude

Responsabilidades Principales:

Cargar charolas, cajas u otros materiales de empaque requeridos según las órdenes de producción
Realizar ajustes en los programas del equipo de desapilado cuando sea necesario
Monitorear los desapiladores y las líneas para detectar problemas y escalar inquietudes al Líder de Clasificación
Corregir errores variados del equipo para minimizar el tiempo de inactividad de las máquinas
Comunicarse de manera efectiva con los operadores de clasificación y el equipo de empacado manual
Realizar otras funciones relacionadas según se asignen
Capacitar a nuevos miembros del equipo
Mantener un área de trabajo limpia y segura siguiendo las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (GMP), los procedimientos de seguridad y utilizando el Equipo de Protección Personal (PPE) requerido
