Responsibilities
The HR Director will partner with the Global Office Commercial function to translate business strategy into people, leadership, and organizational outcomes. Key duties include owning the end-to-end talent strategy, building leadership capability, and driving organizational agility through transformation initiatives.
Requirements
Candidates must have a proven track record in HR leadership within large, global, matrixed organizations, specifically supporting commercial functions in retail or FMCG. Strong skills in stakeholder management, people analytics, and strategic business partnering are required.
Full job description
Pandora is looking to hire a credible and ambitious enterprise HR leader to join the business as HR Director, partnering with the Global Office Commercial function and responsible for translating business strategy into people, leadership, and organisational outcomes.
Operating at the intersection of commercial performance and people effectiveness, you will ensure that talent, leadership capability, organisational design, and culture act as direct levers of growth and execution.
As a member of the Global Office HR leadership team, you will drive enterprise-level impact by elevating business partnering from support to performance acceleration—shaping leadership behaviour and building a high-performing, future-ready Commercial organisation.
Your key responsibilities include:
Act as strategic HR partner to the Global Commercial leadership team, influencing decisions to maximise business performance
Translate commercial priorities into a clear, actionable people agenda aligned to growth and profitability
Own the end-to-end talent strategy, including workforce planning, succession, and capability building
Build leadership capability through coaching and development, strengthening team effectiveness and alignment
Drive culture, engagement, and the full people lifecycle, ensuring consistent and impactful execution
Lead and support transformation initiatives, enabling organisational agility and change readiness
A strategic HR leader with commercial edge
You are a credible and impactful HR leader who thrives in complex, global environments. You bring both strategic perspective and execution discipline, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business strategy into tangible people outcomes. You are passionate about building leadership capability, shaping culture, and driving measurable impact through people.
We expect you to bring:
Proven track record in HR roles within large, global and matrixed organisations
Strong exposure to commercial functions (e.g. retail, eCommerce, merchandising, sales or marketing), ideally within retail or FMCG
Impressive examples to date of strategic business partnering, talent and succession and leadership development
High commercial acumen combined with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience with people analytics and data-driven decision making
Your new team
You will join the Global Office HR team, partnering closely with the Commercial organisation and working alongside a strong community of HR professionals. The team plays a critical role in enabling Pandora’s strategy by building organisational capability, driving leadership effectiveness, and ensuring alignment across functions. As part of the HR leadership ecosystem, you will contribute to shaping the broader HR agenda and continually elevating the impact of HR across the business.
