Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of the cloud platform by owning Azure architecture, AKS, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable and reliable releases. Manage the platform engineering capability, shaping best practices and delivering engineering insights through performance dashboards.
Requirements
Candidates should have extensive experience designing holistic engineering ecosystems and supporting multiple teams with a shared platform. Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/Terraform) and a strong sense of ownership over cloud infrastructure are essential.
Full job description
Millions of families choose Parkdean Resorts for their holidays every year and behind every unforgettable stay is technology that needs to perform seamlessly.
As we continue to grow, we’re investing in our engineering platform to make it stronger, more consistent, and ready for the future. This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of that evolution, shaping the platform that supports every digital experience across our business.
You’ll take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and engineering platform, leading how applications are built, deployed, and operated across Parkdean Resorts. From Azure architecture and AKS cluster management to CI/CD pipelines, observability, and Infrastructure-as-Code, you’ll bring it all together into one cohesive, scalable platform.
What you will be doing...
Owning and evolving our cloud platform – including Azure architecture, AKS, and application infrastructure
Designing and leading CI/CD across Azure DevOps – ensuring reliable, repeatable releases
Driving consistency across environments – building stable, trusted platforms for all engineering teams
Embedding observability and monitoring – with full visibility across production environments
Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code – using Bicep and/or Terraform
Strengthening security and governance – including secrets management, RBAC, and secure pipelines
Leading platform engineering capability – managing people and shaping best practice across squads
Delivering engineering insight – through metrics such as DORA, release traceability, and performance dashboards
About you...
Designs and evolves platforms - not just configures them
Takes a holistic view of engineering ecosystems, without drawing lines between infrastructure and platform
Has experience supporting multiple teams with a shared platform
Thrives on ownership, impact, and building something that genuinely improves how teams work
