Responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating the care of patients in the pre-operative and PACU areas of an Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role involves maintaining patient stability across multiple bodily systems and providing essential education to patients and their families.
Requires a valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with a degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). Two years of pre-operative or post-anesthesia experience is preferred.

The ASC Registered Nurse – PACU is an essential member of the health care team who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating the care of patients in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN consistently delivers high-quality patient care during the pre- and post-operative phase of the patient’s stay in the surgery center.
