The CT Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic procedures and operating CT scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images. They also administer contrast media, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and perform routine equipment quality assurance.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist. Required certifications include ARRT or CMRT and Basic Life Support (BLS).
