Candidates must hold a nursing degree or graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program with a current, unencumbered license. A minimum of 2 years of direct care experience and knowledge of long-term care regulations are required.

As a Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN), you will provide the necessary orientation, educational, and learning opportunities in a supportive environment that will assist staff in gaining the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to perform assigned duties safely and effectively. You will monitor the activities of nursing staff to ensure the quality of care complies with state, federal, and corporate standards. Additionally, you will direct the infection prevention and control program and oversee its activities.
