Requires a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Florida license, and ASHA certification. Candidates must have BLS certification and may have less than one year of clinical experience.

The Speech Language Pathologist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Speech Language Pathologist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.
Age of Patients Served
1. Knowledge of Speech Language Pathology theory, procedures, practices and equipment
2. Good communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving
3. Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial actions in the care of patients
4. Ability to assess for an implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
