The Scrub Assistant provides services to surgical patients under the guidance of an RN. Primary duties include maintaining an aseptic environment and assisting in the transport of patients.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, while completion of a Scrub Tech program and previous experience are preferred. BCLS certification must be completed within the provisionary period.
