The Sleep Tech Extern is responsible for preparing patients for sleep studies, monitoring them throughout the night, and analyzing data to determine appropriate treatment settings. They also assist with patient intake and discharge procedures while maintaining a safe and alert environment.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing to enroll in a vocational sleep school to work toward RPSGT certification. Prior clinical experience is preferred, and the role requires the ability to work the necessary clinical hours to sit for the board exam.

Additional compensation may be available in the form of discretionary incentive or other compensation programs. Any such additional compensation is not guaranteed and is determined at the sole discretion of the organization based on applicable program terms, individual and/or organizational performance, and other eligibility requirements.
