Position Summary
The Licensed Primary Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group therapy services to adults in Residential, PHP and IOP levels of care, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and compliant treatment for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Facilitate structured therapeutic groups aligned with program curriculum
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
Respond to clinical crises, including de-escalation and safety planning
Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR
Coordinate care with psychiatry, nursing, case management, and external providers
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and accreditation standards
