The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will perform routine and complex technical procedures in microbiology while ensuring accurate and timely test results. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation, maintaining quality control, and processing specimens according to standard operating procedures.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or an MLS degree. At least one year of clinical laboratory testing experience in microbiology is required, though an MLS degree may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist to join our team in Dublin, OH.
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus (External Candidates Only)
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
3 months or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
ASCP or AMT certification
In lieu of education requirements listed above, non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits that meet CLIA standards may meet education requirements
Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
Experience working in a high volume laboratory environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

**Pay Range: $25.85 – $35.00 + Shift Differential
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
