The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within a homecare setting. They are also responsible for consulting with and training patients and caregivers while managing treatment goals and outcomes.
A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, valid state licensure, and BLS certification are required, along with one year of related experience. A Master's degree and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential are preferred.

Scope
Evaluates patients, schedules and establishes appropriate treatment goals, along withanticipated outcomes, and delivers skilled physical assessments and treatments effectively.
Delegates/supervises effectively within scope of authority to students, assistants and technicians.
Reassesses patients progress, revises treatment plan and modifies goals when appropriate.
Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school is required
Current/valid state Occupational Therapist licensure is required Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting) is required
Preferred
Masters' degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) is preferred
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements list must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
