Requires a nursing degree (Associate's or higher) and a current Iowa nursing license. BLS certification and a valid driver's license are mandatory, while BSN/MSN and experience in pediatric or acute care are highly desired.
University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a patient centered 90%25 Staff Nurse (36 hours a week) to work in our Urgent Care Clinics. Our Urgent Care Staff Nurses are responsible for caring for a wide variety of patients from newborn to geriatric. Their primary job duties include (but are not limited to) rooming, medication administration, lab collection and processing. This position is part of a dynamic and fast paced environment, rich with opportunities for learning and growth. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that encourages team work to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients. This position will mainly support our Cedar Rapids location, however, could float to other clinic locations based on clinical need/hours.

Percent of Time: 90%25 (36 hours per week)
Schedule: Variable hours; Sunday- Saturday hours between 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating holiday and weekends, no on-call time, with primarily hours accomplished as three 12-hour shifts
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (surrounding clinics sites based on needs/hours)
Pay Grade: 52 - https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/plans
Salary $59,315- $108,805 (based on years of experience)
