Job Summary
SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE for eligible Non-MGB employees: $3,000 for LCSW and $10,000 for LICSW
Starting rates: LCSW: $68,224 LICSW: $92,227
We are seeking a full-time inpatient social worker to join our oncology team to provide a range clinical social work services as part of a multidisciplinary team on an oncology unit.
The ideal candidate will have oncology and acute care hospital experience working with patients and families, will be proficient in conducting psychosocial assessments and experienced in crisis intervention, short-term counseling and interprofessional collaboration.
They will also have experience working with patients and families presenting with a wide range of mental health and psychosocial concerns including anxiety and depression, adjustment and coping, loss and bereavement, complex family dynamics, substance use disorder, assessing and addressing child, elder and disabled maltreatment concerns, and trauma.
Excellent clinical, communication and documentation skills are a necessity.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.
2. Acute care hospital experience preferred.
Social Worker I:
Clinical experience in medical setting 0-1 year required
Licensed Clinical Social Worker [LCSW - State License] required
Social Worker II:
Clinical Experience in a medical setting 2-3 years required
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker [LICSW - State License] required
