We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who is committed to providing excellent customer service and supporting accurate and efficient pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with patients and team members, and takes pride in providing quality service.
Experience with PioneerRx is a plus.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
Perform prescription order entry and related activities to support the medication dispensing process.
Accurately and promptly enter new and refill prescription orders based on assigned priorities.
Complete required data fields according to pharmacy procedures, including approved abbreviations, dosage information, and day-supply calculations.
Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements regarding medication labeling and pharmacy operations.
Assist customers and patients in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
Consult with pharmacists regarding prescription clarification, order-entry issues, or other concerns.
Cross-train and provide support in various areas of the Pharmacy department as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
Maintain accurate records and follow established pharmacy policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental and business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician as required by Maryland law.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous pharmacy experience required; at least one year of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology, including sig codes, brand and generic medication names, and dosage calculations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and over the telephone.
Basic math and analytical skills.
Intermediate typing and keyboarding skills.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work scheduled evenings and weekends as required.
You must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination at the time of the interview.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Previous retail or community pharmacy experience.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, generally 7–10 hours per day.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
