The Infusion Nurse will provide direct patient care by delivering infusions and injections while maintaining accurate health documentation. They are also responsible for managing medical inventory and communicating effectively with prescribing providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a current RN license in Virginia and possess strong IV insertion skills with experience in outpatient infusion therapy. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and current BLS certification are required, while ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.

The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at our clinic in Winchester, VA. The Infusion Nurse will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. The ideal candidate has experience working autonomously, and experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs. The Infusion Nurse role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload (always a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio).
Assess and document the health status of the patient
Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
Provide onsite supervision for all patients
Current RN licensure in Virginia, and open to getting licensure in another state
Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
Current BLS CPR certification
Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month
