The Surgical Technologist supports perioperative services by preparing patients, equipment, and sterile environments for surgical procedures. They provide technical assistance to surgeons by anticipating needs and managing surgical instruments and supplies.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of Operating Room experience. Required certifications include BLS from the American Heart Association and CST from the NBSTSA.
The Surgical Technologist II performs various tasks supporting perioperative services within the Franciscan team. This position assists multiple disciplines within the operating room by preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and maintaining environmental standards. This position, also, provides technical assistance to surgeons by anticipating procedures and equipment. The Surgical Technologist measures and passes medications, hemostatic agents, and other solutions.

Clinic responsibilities may include rooming patients, taking vitals, orders, and routing phone calls
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma/GED
1 year Operating Room Experience Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
