The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper equipment maintenance. They must collaborate with radiologists, monitor patient vital signs, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of radiology technologist experience and experience in a hospital setting. Additionally, the role requires obtaining ARDMS or ARRT (CT) certification within 18 months of the hire date.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity.
At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience

Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
