The VP of Business Development and Physician Strategy directs processes to foster positive medical staff relationships and identifies opportunities for physician recruitment. They also monitor service line profitability and collaborate with executive leadership to establish community outreach initiatives.
The role requires 5 to 7 years of experience in business development or physician strategy, preferably within a healthcare setting. A Master's degree or higher is mandatory for this position.
1. Directs and coordinates effective processes which promote positive working relationships with the medical staff
2. Collaborates with the Medical Leadership to identify opportunities for physician recruitment and new patient care program development.
3. Determines and proposes compensation models for newly recruited providers working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer to obtain approval.
4. Evaluates develops and monitors service lines for volume trends and profitability; as well as gaps in service lines. Takes necessary actions to fill the gaps and grow the business.
5. Establishes a community presence and outreach initiatives in collaboration with the executive team; establishing access to care for those in need through our clinics.
