Candidates should have expertise in early learning, public relations, or the non-profit sector, with prior board experience preferred. A strong knowledge of the Hamilton community and a passion for child well-being are required.
For over 35 years, Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton has offered high-quality child care programs to young children and their families. We operate full-day early learning and child care centres for infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as before and after school programs for kindergarten and school age children in 27 locations throughout the Greater Hamilton Area.

Board meetings will be held on the first Thursday of the following months:
• OCTOBER | 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Hybrid. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged.
• DECEMBER | 12-2 p.m. Hybrid.
• MARCH | 12-2 p.m. Hybrid.
• MAY | 12-2 p.m. Hybrid.
• JUNE - Annual General Meeting (AGM) 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Hybrid. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged.
