The Cook is responsible for preparing meals for residential facilities serving over 100 individuals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. Key duties include managing food donations, rotating stock, and working within an anti-racism and anti-oppression framework.
Candidates must have at least two years of kitchen experience, preferably in healthcare or social services, and a valid Food Handler's Certification. Additional requirements include a clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check and a negative Two-Step Tuberculosis Skin Test.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cook will prepare food and assist in food preparation for Mission Services’ sites. This position will require
a working knowledge, and a range of skills pertaining to, working within Health and Safety guidelines and
proper food handling techniques. The Cook will have valid Food Handler’s Certification and the ability to work
a flexible schedule of day, afternoon and weekend shifts, as required to meet the needs of the programs.
