Position Summary
The Division Leader serves as the strategic and operational leader of Vantage Point, YouthVantage Alliance's line of service dedicated to helping boys and young men develop vision, resilience, leadership, and future-ready skills through mentorship, meaningful experiences, and community connection.
Reporting to The YouthVantage Alliance's Sr. Vice President, Youth Development & Impact, the Division Leader is responsible for leading the growth and implementation of the Vantage Point division across schools, community settings, out-of-school-time programs, and summer experiences with a program focus on workforce readiness, STEM, and leadership and character development. In the early stages of the role, there will be a strong emphasis on program and partnership development; over time, the position will transition toward leading a robust and growing mission for boys and young men across the county.
An entrepreneurial and collaborative professional who is equally comfortable developing strategy, building partnerships, leading teams, guiding program implementation, engaging funders, representing the division throughout the community, and stepping into programs when needed to support quality, model expectations, or help launch new initiatives.
This position plays a critical role in expanding YouthVantage Alliance's cradle-to-career ecosystem and establishing Vantage Point as a leading resource for boys and young men.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Division Growth
• Lead the vision, planning, implementation, and growth of the Vantage Point division
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to establish strategic priorities and growth plans
• Develop scalable program models that support sustainable expansion across multiple school districts and community partners
• Identify opportunities to strengthen participant outcomes, community impact, and organizational sustainability
Program Leadership & Program Operations
• Oversee the day-to-day execution, quality, and consistency of Vantage Point programming across multiple sites and program models
• Contributes to solid decision-making in fast-paced environment and proactively recognize solutions to challenges in real time, and inform SVP of concerns, needs, and trends in school and out-of-school-time programming, including afterschool, summer, weekend, and enrichment experiences
• Support the design and refinement of programs to ensure they remain engaging, impactful, and aligned with division goals
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, attendance, supplies, transportation, and site coordination
• Ensure safe, engaging, and impactful experiences for participants
• Facilitate program sessions, leadership experiences, workshops, and special events as needed to support program quality, staff development, and growth initiatives
• Partner with the Data & Evaluation Coordinator to collect, track and analyze participant feedback, program data, and observations to continuously improve programs
Staff Leadership & Talent Development
• Recruit, supervise, coach, and support program coordinators and interns
• Conduct regular observations, one-on-one coaching, and professional development
• Foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on accountability and innovation
• Develop systems and processes that support staff success and program consistency
• Build leadership capacity among team members and create pathways for growth
Partnership Development & Community Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school districts, administrators, educators, families, community organizations, and youth-serving partners
• Serve as a visible representative of Vantage Point throughout the community
• Develop partnerships that expand access to mentorship, leadership development, workforce experiences, internships, certifications, and career exploration opportunities
• Collaborate with community stakeholders to increase awareness, participation, and financial support for the mission
Fundraising, Grants & External Relations
• Serve as an ambassador and spokesperson for Vantage Point with donors, funders, sponsors, and community leaders
• Collaborate with development and executive leadership teams on grant opportunities, sponsorship development, and donor engagement
• Assist in cultivating and stewarding funding partners and community supporters
• Communicate program outcomes, participant success stories, and organizational impact to external stakeholders
• Support public awareness, recruitment, and visibility efforts that strengthen the Vantage Point brand
Grant Management, Evaluation & Reporting
• Oversee grant accountability, program performance, and reporting requirements associated with Vantage Point initiatives
• Partner with program, finance, and development teams to track outcomes, maintain documentation, and support compliance
• Use data, participant feedback, and program results to assess effectiveness and guide continuous improvement
• Prepare or contribute to reports, presentations, and impact updates for leadership, partners, and funders
Organizational Leadership
• Collaborate across departments to support organizational priorities, strategic initiatives, and special events
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Support fundraising events, community engagement opportunities, and organizational initiatives
• Uphold and model the mission, values, and culture of YouthVantage Alliance
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, nonprofit leadership, public administration, business, social work, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, education, nonprofit leadership, program management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and team leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience managing programs, partnerships, or community initiatives
• Strong public speaking, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Experience building relationships with schools, community partners, and funders
• Strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management skills
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events

What Success Looks Like
Within the first three years, the Division Leader will help:
• Increase awareness, visibility, and community support for Vantage Point
• Position Vantage Point as a recognized leader in boys and young men's development throughout Tarrant County
• Expand Vantage Point across multiple school districts and community partners
• Build and scale high-quality out-of-school-time programming, including afterschool, summer, weekend, and enrichment opportunities
• Build a high-performing team of facilitators
• Increase participation, retention, and measurable participant outcomes
• Strengthen partnerships with schools, partners, community organizations, and funders
• Ensure successful execution of grant-funded programs and achievement of key performance measures
Requirements
Physical & Work Environment
• Ability to travel locally between program sites, schools, meetings, and community events
• Ability to lift and transport program materials as needed
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events when required
