Ibis Public Sector is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a large federal IT modernization initiative. This role bridges business process understanding, and data-driven insight to help optimize workflows, reporting, and performance outcomes. The Senior Business Analyst must be able to effectively translate the client’s business requirements from product owners and stakeholders into user stories that are well understood by developers on the agile product teams.

What You’ll Do
Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into actionable specifications for development and implementation.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure accurate configuration, functionality, and user experience during system build and rollout.
Follow the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and validation.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback sessions to validate requirements, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements.
Support change management and user adoption activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.
Evaluate and recommend digital tools and mediums to improve collaboration, workflow efficiency, and information accessibility across the team.
Document workflows, use cases, and system integrations to support transparency and long-term sustainability of the platform.
Who You Are
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
Ability to be physically present for sensitive meetings in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst supporting enterprise system transitions or implementations, preferably with ServiceNow or similar workflow platforms.
Familiarity with SharePoint, ServiceNow, and digital collaboration tools.
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to translate business processes into technical requirements and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Prior experience supporting Federal, DoD, or cybersecurity-focused environments preferred.

You must contribute at least 1% to get the additional 1% match from the company.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
