Requires an active TS-SCI clearance and at least 8 years of experience in data and trend analysis. A bachelor's degree in a related field is desired along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Provide mid-level analytic expertise to the DCSA OSINT Analysis review submitted packages to ensure they meet basic submission requirements and provide direction and support to customers who must remedy package errors or have status questions. In addition, they produce RIRs through conducting all-source research from information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open-source materials and evaluating those facts against established DCSA risk indicators. Assesses foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements. IS Entity Vetting (EV) consists of three mission areas including Verification and Triage Unit (VTU), Due Diligence Unit (DDU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU). EV is responsible for producing timely, relevant, and actionable triage, business and security-centric due diligence research, reporting, analysis, and risk management products, recommendations, and decisions throughout to evaluate risk and FOCI, to negotiate and sustain risk management strategies and FOCI action plans, and to provide end-to-end management support of the processes. CI performs an essential function for the related processes above through its Threat Integration Branch (TIB), which provides timely, relevant, and actionable threat reports that allow EV decision-makers to determine what actions are prudent in a particular case.
This is an in-office position, with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 20-30 lbs., constant sitting while using a computer, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities to communicate, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadline.
