The Escrow Specialist ensures accurate and timely management of tax and insurance obligations to protect loan portfolios and minimize risk. They resolve complex escrow issues, process disbursements, and serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in mortgage loan servicing and a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are required to handle complex escrow documentation and vendor coordination.

The Escrow Specialist helps protect members, the credit union, and loan portfolios by ensuring tax and insurance obligations are accurate, timely, and compliant. This role reduces risk, resolves complex escrow issues, and creates a smoother servicing experience for borrowers and internal partners.
Required
Preferred
Two (2) years of experience with escrow accounts with experience on automated billing and payment of taxes and insurance
Required
General knowledge of all areas of mortgage lending policies, guidelines, terminology, and procedures
Calculator and general office equipment skills
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Superior customer service skills, ability to communicate complicated escrow issues to internal and external customers
Ability to prioritize to meet daily deadlines
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

The expected pay range for this position is $23.77 to $25.73 per hour.

Job Location: This position is onsite based in San Antonio, Tx.
