We are searching for a full-time Revenue Cycle Customer Service Specialist to join our busy practice.
Revenue Cycle Customer Service Specialist
This position will be responsible for assisting patients as well as internal customers with aspects of their revenue cycle interactions related to services at VEI offices and the Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Richmond, VA metropolitan area. This includes responding to questions about and being part of the patient collections process. The successful candidate will be driven to provide industry-leading patient/customer service as part of a cohesive team, take initiative and collaborate with peers. To do this, they will need to understand how to present answers to patients/customers in a caring and calm manner and work well in a team environment.

Virginia Eye Institute (VEI) is a comprehensive eye care organization providing a wide range of ophthalmology, optometry, and optical services in 8 locations across Central Virginia. VEI offers an exceptional range of ophthalmic care to Richmond, VA residents including, cornea and external diseases, glaucoma, cataract surgery, retina, oculoplastics, pediatrics, refractive surgery (LASIK), and general ophthalmology. All optometrists and ophthalmologists at VEI are board-certified and many are fellowship-trained. VEI eyewear locations provide board-certified opticians and contact lens fitters. VEI also owns and operates an out-patient Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). VEI’s optical shops are ranked as one of the nation’s “50 Best Optical Shops”. VEI also has an Aesthetic Center in Short Pump performing remarkable cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries by our fellowship-trained specialists.
