The key areas of focus for this role will be the Spend Approval Process, Investment Performance Tracking and Management, and the Monthly Expense Forecast routine. This role serves as a key partner across business, finance, technology, and operational teams to drive data-informed decision making, enhance financial transparency, and support enterprise initiatives through strong data governance, financial analysis, and process optimization. The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytical capabilities, foster cross-functional collaboration, and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of financial planning and management processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Management & Governance
Lead the collection, validation, transformation, and management of complex financial and operational datasets.
Establish and maintain data quality standards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting and forecasting processes.
Partner with business, technology, and finance stakeholders to improve data governance practices and streamline information management.
Develop sustainable data structures and reporting solutions that support strategic planning, forecasting, and executive decision-making.
Financial Analysis & Business Insights
Perform comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
Deliver actionable insights through variance analysis, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
Translate complex financial and operational data into meaningful business recommendations for senior leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership
Build strong partnerships across Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Business teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor by providing financial expertise and analytical support for enterprise initiatives and strategic decisions.
Facilitate discussions among diverse stakeholder groups to align objectives, resolve challenges, and drive successful outcomes.
Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Process Improvement & Transformation
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, controls, and scalability within financial and operational processes.
Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing data-driven methodologies and best practices.
Design and implement automated reporting and analytical solutions that reduce manual effort and increase organizational effectiveness.
Support transformation initiatives by developing repeatable processes, documentation, controls, and governance structures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
2. Eight years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
4. Proactive in completing tasks and producing deliverables.
5. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
6. Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interpret and communicate financial analysis to business partners in a concise and useful manner.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Sound and logical decision-making abilities.
9. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work well with others in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
10. Familiarity with GAAP.
11. High proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products.
12. Financial Modeling experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst Master’s degree of MBA Specific financial services or specialized industry experience.
2. Proficient in Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or other enterprise accounting software.
3. Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or other data transformation tools
