The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for performing general repairs, painting, and construction for zoo and aquarium infrastructure and animal exhibits. They also assist with preventive maintenance programs, snow removal, and various mechanical trades including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of experience in general maintenance or carpentry. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be physically capable of lifting 75 pounds and working in extreme weather conditions.
