About the Role:

The Building Operating System (BOS) is a key pillar of the GROPYUS product ecosystem, connecting buildings, operators, asset owners, and residents through intelligent building technology and digital services. 

As Expert, Product Commercialization & Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the Building Operating System (BOS). Working at the intersection of Product, Sales, Business Development, and customers, you will help shape the BOS go-to-market strategy, build strategic partnerships, develop the retrofit sales pipeline, and ensure market learnings continuously inform product development. 

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and execute the BOS commercial and sales strategy in close collaboration with the Product team. 
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline to achieve BOS growth and revenue targets, with a particular focus on 3rd-party opportunities. 
• Support and participate in customer and sales conversations for both our own and 3rd-party projects as the BOS subject matter expert. 
• Establish strategic partnerships with asset owners, property owners, and innovation partners that drive both commercial outcomes and product learning. 
• Act as the bridge between customers, Sales, and Product, ensuring customer insights and market needs are reflected in product decisions. 
• Help shape BOS messaging, value propositions, sales processes, and commercial frameworks to support scalable growth. 
• Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities to inform BOS strategy and roadmap planning. 
• Identify, evaluate, and develop partnerships for future BOS-enabled services and ecosystem offerings. 

 What Success Looks Like 

• A healthy and growing BOS pipeline, particularly in the 3rd-party segment. 
• Strategic partnerships that contribute to revenue, customer acquisition, or product validation. 
• Strong collaboration between Product, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing. 
• Market and customer insights that drive measurable improvements in the BOS product and offering. 

What you bring:

• Experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Product Commercialization, Product Management, Enterprise Sales, or a similar role. 
• Experience in PropTech, Real Estate, Smart Buildings, IoT, SaaS, or related industries 
• A strong ability to translate complex product capabilities into customer value and commercial opportunities. 
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. 
• Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and managing complex B2B engagements. 
• Commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking and a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
